Question | Where was the Great Gorge Route? |
| Answer
| Between 1895 and the mid 1930s a railway ran along side the Niagara River on both the American and Canadian sides ; railway cars travelled from Chippawa along the topside of the Niagara River, when it reached Queenston the train would cross over the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge into the United States travelling south back along the Gorge until it crossed the Upper Steel Arch (Honeymoon) Bridge back into Canada ; it used to cost about $1 to take the 22 mile trip ; |
